Fireflies are not flies in reality but beetles with glowing abdomens. Over 2,000 species of fireflies can be spotted in the woods of these villages. The wonderful creatures dissipate light to attract mates. Male fireflies send signals in the form of distinct patterns of flashing light and females respond to them in their own way of signalling. The exchange of light creates a spellbinding phenomenon for the onlookers.
